is the connection that opens people up to the big issues of life:
security, hope, love, laughter, friendship, healing, and spiritual
awareness. Oral telling opens people up to a new world where people
truly listen. You look into the eyes of your audience, see their
faces, and know that their minds are seeing what you are saying
in their own unique way.
Sandy takes her vivacious style of telling to
schools, museums, libraries, churches, retreats, Elderhostel
groups, and business luncheons where she shares the joy of “connecting
through story.” She appeals to audiences of all ages by
encouraging them to enjoy themselves and to use their own gift
of imagination!
It is amazing to watch her use
story to bring life and vibrancy to the history of Arizona at
an Elderhostel program, tell spooky stories at the library,
spellbind toddlers, or enchant the Junior High crowd. No matter
who she is telling stories to, or where she is telling, everyone
goes away feeling truly connected through story.
